James Bond Movies

I have always loved James Bond movies. There was always something unique and special about the 'James Bond' Movies. The secret life, the danger, the world travel, the international espionage, and of course, the girls. Ahh...the Bond girls, you got to love them. Yet, however interesting the Bond girls were and believe me they were, I refer here to the movies specifically and more specific the 'Roger Moore' version. Some would argue that Sean Connery version was the most popular series. I, probably, will not dispute what claim, however Roger Moore did make his character uniquely his own, a skilled application of charismatic 'coolness' and a heavy foot on-the-ready for a quiet ass-kicking when needed, was always envied and not easily copied. So, without hesitation, I award the James Bond I grew up on -- the James Bond of the 1970's, Roger Moore's 'James Bond' as one of the most intriguing movie characters of that time.

A good salesman would tell you that 'timing is everything' in a sale, and James Bond came with uncanny timing and I 'bought it' like many others of that time. The Battle for the free-world, was always in danger and Bond was there to keep it safe.
